Most of the documents listed on the left were obtained through the New York State Freedom of Information Law. Several documents were obtained from the Poughkeepsie City School District web site. The document source is listed on the individual documents. Regardless of the document source, I have not created any of these documents with the exception of the Attendance Records. The Attendance Records are a one page summary of data received through a FOIL request. They other documents were are all published as I have received them. You may download, print or redistribute any of these documents. While it is not required, if you distribute any of these documents, I would appreciate a note of credit that you obtained the documents from PoughkeepsieSchools.info. Many documents are in PDF format and Adobe Reader (available free here) is required to view the documents. Despite my request to receive documents received from FOIL requests in digital format I always get paper documents. Paper documents that I received have been scanned and converted into PDF documents. Some documents contained handwritten notations, this is how I received the documents. Additionally, there may be other markings on the documents, these are either on the originals or a result of the document scanning process. The scanned documents were processed with OCR technology to make the document searchable. This process is not perfect, there is a chance that a search for a particular word or phrase may not find all occurrences of the word or phrase due to incorrect character recognition.
